If you’re reading this then you are probably wondering when and where I lost my mind. I can assure you my friends that I have indeed lost my mind and created something fantastic! So, if you remember from my last post I have this cousin at UGA (Roll Tide) who wants to cook more but needs cheap ideas. This breakfast idea made easy thanks to a lingering hangover and inability to leave the house cost zero dollars. Zero assuming you have most of these ingredients.
For a beginners tip the shape or method I’ve used to make the pancakes does not need to be followed. Cooking the pancakes on a skillet or in a pan yields equally delicious results. Don’t fret, I thought of everything this time.
In an effort to formulate proper eating habits and utilize my time wisely breakfast has become a new hobby of mine. I encourage all of you to try my pancakes and pair them with your favorite breakfast items. I’ll be sharing a delicious bacon vinaigrette scrambled egg idea soon so stay tuned!
This dish was served with fresh orange slices, southwest egg burrito and a side of maple syrup!
Ingredients:
1 1/4 cup pre made pancake mix
2/3 cup water
3oz fireball cinnamon whiskey
2 tbsp cinnamon
1 tsp nutmeg
1 tbsp brown sugar
Directions:
Combine dry ingredients in mixing bowl. Add wet ingredients and whisk until there are no clumps
How you cook these depends on you. I ladled the batter into the slots of a sandwich maker for the shape. This process takes 4 to 6 minutes flipping once half way.
Alternatively you may use a pan or skillet on medium heat turning the cakes once after 2 minutes or golden brown
Serve this with a scoop of mascarpone cheese on top.
(It goes without saying if you are under 21 do not drink the fireball)
